Job Overview
Title: Testing Technician (DAS/ERRCS)
Location: Irvine, CA
Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 per year (DOE)
Work with the company's fire alarm, life safety, and security systems across commercial and industrial sectors. The Testing Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and verifying the performance and compliance of DAS and ERRCS systems.
Responsibilities- Conduct site surveys, acceptance tests, and annual inspections using RF equipment.
- Verify system performance meets local code and coverage requirements.
- Perform cable termination, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic and coaxial cables.
- Maintain test documentation and reports.
- 1+ years of field experience as a telecom, low-voltage, or DAS/ERRCS technician.
- Knowledge of RF principles, antennas, and wireless infrastructure.
- Experience with cable termination, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic and coaxial.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of DAS‑ERRCS systems.
- FCC GROL (General radiotelephone operator license).
- NICET In‑Building Public Safety Communications License.
- Manufacturer‑specific certifications (e.g., Anritsu, PC‑Tel).
- OSHA 10 or 30 license.
