Senior Software Engineer II; Ad Tech

The Adtech Team at Mobility Ware is building a suite of client and server technologies to deliver advertising to our huge audience of engaged players worldwide. This Senior Software Engineer role is responsible for design and development of mission critical components of a distributed Ad serving platform, where performance, high quality and precision are revered values. You will design, code, troubleshoot, and support scalable services in a high volume and low latency environment.

This is a 100% hands‑on role and we are looking for an exceptional and experienced coder first. In addition to being a strongly motivated individual contributor, you will also be responsible for mentoring remote engineers and guiding them to deliver high impacting products and services. The solutions you create would drive step increases in monetization across the suite of Mobility Ware’s apps and ensure relevant ads are served to Mobilityware's customers.

• Design, develop and maintain high scalable, high performance and low latency distributed system using Java.
• Coordinate with offshore dev team to align on architecture design and ticket requirement, perform detailed code reviews and technical mentorship.
• Deploy, monitor and scale ad server system on Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Participate in technical design reviews, contribute to architecture decisions and drive long‑term platform improvements
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance and drive technical analysis
• Ensure observability and operational excellence using monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and Open search

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as backend engineer, strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming and experience in Java, Java script, Python, spring boot, Netty, Jetty.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and cloud infrastructure(AWS/OCI)
• Experience with high scalable, high performance, high concurrency and low latency distributed system.
• Experience with both SQL(Mysql) and NOSQL(aerospike, redis, dyanmo
  
  DB) databases.
• Experience with building REST based APIs and writing API specs in Swagger or similar.
• Familiar with CICD, bitbucket or Git.
• Strong ability to lead code reviews, mentor engineers and maintain consistent engineering quality standards
• Preferred:
  Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred:
  AdTech related experience in DSP/SSP/Ad exchange/Mediation SDK is a big plus.
• Preferred:
  Experience with machine learning model building and development.
• Preferred:
  Experience with snowflake and kafka.
