Sales Manager, Business Development
Job Description
The Sales Manager will report to the Head of Timber Frame and operate in a field sales capacity covering Scotland and North England. You will repeat sell to an established customer base and generate new business, proactively manage accounts, and build long‑lasting relationships with key accounts. You will own, hit or exceed annual sales targets and milestones, maintain the sales process and order book, and demonstrate willingness to grow, lead and manage the territory.
Responsibilities- Repeat selling to an established customer base as well as generating new business.
- Proactively manage accounts.
- Build and maintain long‑lasting customer relationships with key accounts.
- Own, hit or exceed annual sales targets and key milestones.
- Demonstrate strong willingness to grow, lead and manage the sales territory.
- Maintain the sales process and order book.
- Strong journey planning and account management experience.
- Proven record in timber frame or modular or construction sales experience.
- Ambitious, enthusiastic, self‑motivated individual.
- Ability in selling timber frame and roof trusses.
- Capability to deal with people at all levels of the organization up to Director level.
- Strong analytic/problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Dependable and flexible.
- Results driven, participatory in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Excellent attention to detail.
