Responsibilities- Understand and analyze activities performed with respect to theory and company policy
- May perform supervisory and training duties
- Perform general accounting and other related duties in daily administration of the accounting department
- Maintain general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly, and setting up new accounts
- Monitor accounts receivables collection from individuals and/or institutions, interface with bank; reconcile customer accounts; may also require booking of sales
- Maintain accounting records for fixed assets
- Other duties as assigned
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and two (2) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to six (6) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Education or experience in business/finance preferred
- Knowledge of Purchase Orders, payment terms, and processing of invoices and/or expense reports
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of PC-based business applications
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of automated payroll/accounting/business applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic leadership and decision-making skills

Salary Range$55,000.00 - $94,000.00
