• Assist the Project Accounting team in preparing monthly financial reports for the Utilities group.
• Maintain project cost reports, ledgers, and forecasted cost variances.
• Work with the Senior Project Accountant to prepare progress invoices for owners/consultants.
• Ensure final payments of holdbacks and subcontractor invoices are completed upon project close‑out.
• Administer change orders and increases to the prime contract and relevant subcontracts.
• Act as an internal auditor to assure internal controls are followed.
• Assist with interim and year‑end audit and reporting requirements.
• Build and maintain Excel reporting models used for monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Document continuous process improvements and participate in special projects and initiatives.

• Post‑secondary education focused in accounting or business.
• Working toward an accounting designation (CPA, CMA) is ideal.
• 1 year of construction accounting experience is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, shortcuts, pivots).
• Experience with a large ERP, particularly SAP, is a strong asset.
• Excellent organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines in a high‑pressure environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team‑work abilities.
• Ability to manage time, shift priorities, and maintain commitments to internal and external clients.
