Under general supervision of the Cash Manager, the Cash Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for preparing timely and accurate bank reconciliations. The individual will research settlement discrepancies, exceptions, and other out of balance conditions found. This position also supports the reconciliation team in ensuring that all out of balance conditions are resolved appropriately and timely.
Responsibilities- Support in handling day to day cash related issues for PDS offices.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements in the accounting system based on assigned transaction type.
- Prepare journal entries in to compensate discrepancies, fees, and any type of refunds or returns and submit to Sr for review.
- Assist in collaboration with other departments to ensure accuracy of payments posted to patient accounts.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and logs of reconciliations and adjustments.
- Support in the preparation of submitting various monthly reports for management review.
- Supports automation of processes.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- 0-1+ years’ experience in cash management and/or banking and accounting
- Experience with Oracle FMS Cash Management and Cloud Based solutions
- System knowledge in the following:
Oracle FMS, Excel, Microsoft Suite
- Ability to multi-task effectively without compromising the quality of the work
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented, organized, process focused, problem solver, self‑motivated, proactive, ambitious, customer service focused
- Ability to draw conclusions with limited information
- Self‑motivated, reliable individual capable of working independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and other members of the business community

Compensation Information $24.60-$33.40 / Hourly
