Job Title : Senior Accountant (Onsite - Irving TX)
Location : Irving TX
Type : Contract (Onsite)
Schedule : Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Duration : 3 months (Dec 21 2025 - Mar 22 2026)
Pay Rate : $37.29 / hr
Education Requirement :
Bachelors degree in Accounting (verification required at submission)
- Only candidates who are U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders will be considered.
- Local candidates based in or near Irving TX are preferred.
- Candidates with prior healthcare accounting experience are highly preferred.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing general ledger month-end journal entries account reconciliations variance analysis and other accounting activities in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). The role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across accounting and operational teams.

Prepare month-end general ledger journal entries with complete and accurate supporting documentation.
Evaluate the appropriateness of journal entries GL accounts and financial statement classification.
Analyze financial reports provide variance explanations against budget and trends and present findings to accounting leads and managers.
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned functional areas.
Assist other teams with information requests as needed.
Work closely with internal teams to resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.
Participate in special projects process improvement initiatives and year-end external audits.
Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries accounting classifications and supporting documentation.
Coordinate accounting activities across departments divisions and locations as necessary.
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Ability to prepare accurate journal entries and account reconciliations
- Experience performing variance analysis and supporting month-end close processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
