Pioneer your career at Körber, where we innovate, collaborate, and love what we do. We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to manage and grow strategic customer relationships with postal organizations across the US.

The Sr. Business Development Manager will develop account plans, drive new business opportunities, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure overall customer satisfaction. Utilizes business and operational data analytics to develop innovative mail automation concepts focusing on reducing manual labor and cost.

Your Role in Our Team
  • Develops and executes strategic account plans to drive business growth and meet revenue targets.
  • Serves as the primary point of customer contact, managing the relationship across multiple customer organizations and divisions.
  • Collaborates with internal departments to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Identifies new business opportunities and maintains a robust sales pipeline.
  • Conducts strategic market research and develops targeted solutions.
  • Builds customer roadmaps and long-term strategies aligned with mutual business goals.
  • Attends industry events, trade shows, and conferences to support customer engagement and networking.
  • Monitors KPIs, maintains accurate recording in CRM systems, and provides regular updates and forecasts.
  • Partners with project managers to strategically align staffing with project needs.
  • Maintains high-level communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resolves customer issues in coordination with relevant internal teams and suppliers.
  • Ensures that all sales data and reporting responsibilities are managed within the expected deadlines.
Your Profile
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of mail processing systems, requirements, and technologies.
  • Deep working knowledge of postal operations.
  • Proven leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a track record of developing and executing account growth plans.
  • High-level financial acumen, including P&L oversight and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM tools, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field required.
  • MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of business development/sales and contract negotiation experience.
