About the role

The Client Success team follows a Client for Life philosophy, ensuring every Gartner client receives value far exceeding their investment. Associates understand client business priorities, surface challenges, and identify the most effective ways to support clients in making right decisions. They articulate Gartner value to prospective clients, onboard clients, prove the concept of Gartner services, and stimulate client engagement of products.

New Client Engagement (NCE), part of our Client Success Organization, is a fast‑paced, dynamic business unit focused on providing the highest level of service to prospects and clients. NCE is made up of two functions:
Client Onboarding and Insights Platform Walkthrough for prospects. The Client Onboarding role focuses on customized experience for new and upgraded clients. The Insights Platform Walkthrough team provides pre‑sale demonstrations of Gartner resources, including the  platform, to prospects as part of the sales process. NCE utilizes Gartner assets and our platform to drive a client experience that starts with a prospect demonstration, moves to an extensive onboarding experience, and transitions seamlessly to ongoing support.

You’ll apply strategic thinking and relationship building to help executives solve their most pressing business challenges, align Gartner research and expertise, and help contribute to Gartner’s growth.

What you will do
  • Lead prospect and/or client calls to understand priorities and challenges, articulate the value of Gartner’s products and services, and demonstrate value to decision makers.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to effectively demonstrate Gartner products and resources to prospects or clients, increasing likelihood of engagement and license purchasing. Communicate with internal partners to overcome obstacles and maximize value delivered.
  • Research prospective and existing companies, C‑Level executives, business trends, and competitive intelligence to prepare relevant and tailored Gartner resources that drive impact.
What you will need
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 6+ months relevant professional and/or internship experience with a proven track record of success fueled by a passion for driving client success.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, critical thinking, and influencing skills; ability to be agile and flexible.
  • Well defined time management and organizational skills.
