Sr. Insurance Analyst

American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is currently seeking an Sr. Insurance Analyst for our Insurance Solutions department.

The Insurance Services Senior Analyst will collaborate with AHM, AHFC and vendor partners to implement insurance services business strategies and roadmap. They will maintain strong, mutually successful relationships with insurance vendor partners, monitor SLAs and recommend opportunities for improvement. They will lead research of industry trends and use industry knowledge and experience to formulate sound recommendations to support strategies and objectives.

The Senior Analyst will design and recommend supporting strategies, action plans and KPIs to track progress providing updates on those key initiatives monthly, quarterly and annually for the benefit of various stakeholders (i.e. AHFC Executive Leadership Team, AHFC Management and AHM.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Implement initiatives to support Honda insurance business
• Lead project plan to ensure deliverables are accurate and on time
• Conduct research and analysis to understand insurance industry trends and competitive landscape
• Supervise and develop team members
• Contribute to the Insurance Department and AHFC by involvement with ad hoc research and reporting assignments as needed.

• BA / BS degree required in finance, economics, business, business administration, mathematics / statistics, or related field
• 5 + years' work experience in insurance, financial services and / or automotive manufacturer
• Must have a solid understanding of the automotive industry / automotive finance business
• Understands internal and external customer needs, advocates for improved customer experience
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management across all Honda companies
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills

Competitive Base Salary : $72,100-$124,500

Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
