Product Manager

Job Summary

The Product Manager - Inventory Management will be responsible for overall coordination and management of assigned platform products from definition, development, release to production and introduction into the marketplace.

This position involves close interaction with Development, Product Stakeholders, and Marketing to fully understand product/marketing needs.

Job duties include gathering requirements from various stakeholders including executive team, sales, marketing, and current customers, writing product requirements documents or Agile product backlogs, The ideal candidate will have SaaS and Enterprise product management experience.

• Become an expert on product and deeply understand our customers and industry
• Coordination and management of the product lifecycle to include definition, development, coordination of production and marketplace introduction.
• Develop messaging that differentiates Apptricity solutions in the marketplace
• Defining product requirements (roadmaps, workflows) for introduction to development teams
• Write product requirements and usage scenarios
• Determining, monitoring, and reporting metrics of key performance indicators
• Benchmarking product features as compared to key competitors in the marketplace
• Partner with QA teams to test and validate functional specifications are being met during the development process
• Partner with leadership and other stakeholders on product vision / direction, translating into actionable requirements to bring to the development team
• Collaborate on backlog management & iteration planning while balancing the requirements of customers and stakeholders
• Create standard documents like (but not limited to) the market requirements document, product requirements document, business case documentation, etc. for a product.

• Minimum of 5 Years experience working with Inventory Management Software
• 7 Years Experience working in Supply Chain software industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technically Equivalent Degree
• 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role, Product Owner, Product Analyst
• 3-5 years’ experience designing strategy/plans by defining product requirements (roadmaps, workflows) for introduction to development teams.
• Agile and scrum experience
• Write product requirements and usage scenarios.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver through relationships at all levels of the organization, demonstrating excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Significant experience in software product marketing, marketing management, development and/or life cycle management
• Pragmatic Marketing experience
• Experience using Salesforce
• Significant knowledge of SAAS and the SDLC
• Knowledge of inventory management software, or supply chain industry plus

• Knowledge of Asset/ Inventory/Supply Chain software - Experience with inventory management systems -
• Knowledge of inventory management software, or supply chain industry plus
• Product marketing experience
• Not customer facing daily
• Synthesize customer pain points, user research, analysis, and stakeholder feedback into detailed product requirements
• Drive feature development from start to finish with the engineering team, while collaborating with key stakeholders across the company
• Execute on projects and proactively identify improvements and new opportunities for our product
• Partner with other PMs and cross-functional teams to develop a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Work with product and engineering to clarify, triage, and prioritize bugs.
