Takeoff Estimator -AGTEK

Overview

Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Takeoff AGTEK to join our preconstruction team. This role is responsible for producing accurate digital earthwork takeoffs using AGTEK software to support estimating and project planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of civil plans, grading designs, and construction documentation, with strong proficiency in AGTEK takeoff platforms.

• Utilize AGTEK Earthwork 4D, Grade work, or similar software to perform detailed digital earthwork takeoffs.
• Interpret civil drawings, grading plans, and specifications to build accurate 3D models and quantity reports.
• Generate and present cut/fill maps, cross-sections, and material quantity summaries for use in estimates.
• Assist estimators in reviewing takeoff results to identify risks, inconsistencies, or missing information.
• Organize and maintain project files, takeoff data, and backup documentation.
• Collaborate with field and survey teams to verify site conditions and ensure alignment with modeled data.
• Support additional preconstruction and estimating activities as needed.

• Experience using AGTEK Earthwork 4D, Grade work, or other AGTEK modules.
• Familiarity with earthwork, grading, and civil sitework projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, grading plans, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other standard office software.
• Effective communicator and team player, able to collaborate across departments.
