The Construction Superintendent oversees daily onsite operations of Power Systems projects nationwide, including scheduling, shipment management, equipment inspection, and task prioritization for field personnel. It requires coordination with the Project Manager, customers, and onsite contractors. Responsible for supervising installations, ensuring safety, and maintaining compliance as directed by the Project Operations Manager.
The incumbent is expected to model the following practices daily:

- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
- Assists with scheduling, shipment coordination, and on‑site project setup.
- Supports receiving, inspecting, and verifying equipment for completeness and quality.
- Helps prioritize field personnel tasks under the direction of more experienced superintendents or project managers.
- Attends project meetings and maintains accurate documentation of site activities.
- Manages project timelines, budgets, and cost controls, ensuring resources are used efficiently.
- Performs basic Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), ensuring defects are identified and reported.
- Assists in ensuring project safety compliance, adhering to all OSHA and company policies.
- Learns and assists in obtaining required permits and coordinating with contractors.
- Provides progress updates to the Project Manager and senior superintendents.
- Communicates issues and concerns proactively to management.
- Develops working relationships with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors.
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Performs other duties assigned.
- Basic understanding of power generation and construction principles.
- Ability to identify minor site issues and elevate them appropriately.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
- High school diploma required;
Associate’s or Technical degree preferred. - Three to six years of power generation, construction, or project management experience.

Travel- Up to 80% travel, including overnight stays.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to perform each job duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
- Extended periods of standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
- Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina required.
- Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
- React to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions.
- Ascend/descend ladders using both hands and feet.
- Job performed in a professional office environment, in controlled indoor conditions and outdoor job sites.
- Exposure to weather extremes and occasional inclement weather.
- Fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
