Summary

Balfour Beatty, in partnership with Fluor, has been awarded the $1.7B I-635 LBJ East project in Dallas. Pegasus Link Constructors, a fully integrated joint venture of Fluor and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc., with over 17 years of experience, is seeking talented individuals to join our team. The project involves design-build construction to improve capacity and operational efficiency of I-635 north and east of Dallas, from east of U.S. Highway 75 to I-30.

We are currently seeking candidates for the Roadway/Dirt Foreman position. The Foreman will supervise and coordinate workers, schedule work to meet deadlines safely and within budget, and maintain good relationships with inspectors, developers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Essential Job Functions

• Execute Look Ahead Schedules
• Purchase materials, tools, and supplies
• Manage craftsmen, laborers, equipment, and materials

Additional responsibilities include logistics planning, scheduling daily and weekly construction activities, executing project work plans, managing crews efficiently, training crew members, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing earthwork, demolition, grading, cement-treated base, lime, or related disciplines
• Highway construction experience required
• Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment operation and working near traffic
• Effective communication skills with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and visitors
• TxDOT construction experience preferred
• Design Build experience preferred
