Summary

Balfour Beatty Construction seeks an Assistant Project Manager to work in Dallas, TX. Ground-up commercial construction experience is required, and MEP experience is preferred.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate drawings and specifications with trades
• Prepare RFIs and submittals
• Manage procurement logs to schedule long lead items
• Coordinate meetings with trades, clients, governing agencies, and inspectors
• Manage trade and owner change orders
• Schedule work to meet project timelines
• Manage costs across varying scopes of work
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Have at least 4 years of construction office or field experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager role
• Have 1 year or more of direct supervisory experience
• Experience with project management software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.)
• Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, and labor reports
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar applications

Preferred Experience

• MEP experience
• Local candidates preferred but not required
