DEPARTMENT:Operations
JOB STATUS:Non-Exempt
SHIFT:Monday-Friday (10am-6pm)
WAGE:$22.00/hr

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a tech savvy and organized dispatcher to join our team. This will be a regional dispatcher role responsible for coordinating pick-up and delivery of freight accurately and efficiently for three of our locations in Texas. They will utilize our company’s technology system to process and close driver trips while supporting the operations team with administrative tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Plans and implements methods and procedures for efficient pickup and delivery of freight.
  • Verifies accuracy of pick-up orders placed by Customer Service Representatives.
  • Maintain and facilitate communication with drivers to ensure optimum operational efficiency.
  • Communicates with Operations and Customer Service Representative personnel to resolve operational and freight issues.
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Able work irregular hours when necessary.
  • Knowledge of the city/urban literacy
  • Detailed oriented, analytical, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
