Call Center Representative

TEKsystems is hiring a Contract to Hire Call Center Representative in Irving, TX. The position is entry‑level and offers a $18.50 – $23.50 per hour pay range. The role requires flexibility to adapt to scheduling changes and overtime if needed.

Responsibilities
  • Work the standard 8 AM – 5 PM shift with two late‑night shifts (11 AM – 8 PM) per week, excluding Friday, and every other Saturday (8 AM – 12 PM). One week per month will be 7 AM – 4 PM with Saturday 7 AM – 12 PM.
  • Handle light collections by calling customers who are 1–29 days past due, collecting credit‑card information, enabling auto‑pay, resetting passwords, and providing general account assistance.
  • Respond to incoming calls, assist Honda/Acura customers with payment inquiries, title requests, website log‑ins, and other account‑related issues.
  • Perform outbound calls (10–15 per day) to dealers for contract verification and further information collection within the Credit Department.
  • Review leasing/purchasing contracts to ensure all required forms are present, enter customer data into the AHFC system, and assign account numbers.
  • File contracts and supporting documents in their correct location and maintain accurate data entry across two monitors.
  • Adapt to flexible scheduling as business needs change, including mandatory overtime on two Saturdays per month.
Qualifications
  • High‑school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of professional customer‑service experience (auto‑finance or collections a plus).
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Problem‑solving ability and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work scheduled shifts and occasional overtime.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic database entry.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly rate: $18.50 – $23.50. Benefits are available for eligible temporary employees and may include medical, dental & vision, critical illness, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, disability, health spending account, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, and paid time off.
