Position Summary:

Responsible for monitoring incoming customer P.O.s, coordinating with relevant departments and processing the orders and customer inquiries. Coordinates with internal departments such as Shipping, Accounting and Manufacturing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor all new customers' orders and P.O.s.
• Receive, analyze and acknowledge.
• Enter information into our system (SBO).
• Check for daily requirements (orders planned for the day) including backorders.
• Print Pick Slips for warehouse. Ensure customer notes are correct.
• Follow up on daily orders, allocating inventory. System automatically allocates first in/first out.
• Work with warehouse daily to ensure orders are scheduled and are to be shipped.
• Coordinate drop ship orders for Mitsubishi and others. Arrange/advise documentation for customer plant shipments.

Duties:

• Inputs new orders.
• Advises Customer Service Supervisor for resolution if order changes.
• Confirms all orders and amendments to customer.
• Prepares original shipping picker or amendments.
• Ensures customer notes are correct on picker and updated as necessary.
• Maintains customer file with all correspondence relating to an order together.
• Updates management with customer upgrades or complaints as appropriate.
• Arranges necessary instructions and labels for customer shipments.
• Coordinates with shipping companies based upon customer requirements.
• Reviews upcoming orders to assure proper inventory and notifies Material Department and customer of any shortfalls.
• Checks internet sites for web-based EDI information.
• Transmits ASNs when required per customer instruction.

Bilingual is highly desired as there is lots of communication in Spanish.
