Overview

Acute Care/Trauma Surgery Physician opportunity at Baylor Scott & White Health in Irving, Texas. This is a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon role focused on acute care and trauma services. The position is employed with a benefits package designed to support work-life balance, a competitive salary with a productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax.

• Provide both acute care and trauma services. This opportunity does not include a critical care component.
• Join an established group at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Irving.
• Approximately 9 shifts per month (24 hours each).
• Primarily handle acute care cases generated from a specified number of call days each month.
• Host 1–2 clinic days to assist with postoperative and follow-up patients.
• No option for an elective practice.

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
