Job Description
The Physician's Assistant will support the surgical team in an operating room setting, primarily assisting with spine surgery for adult patients under the direct clinical supervision of an attending physician. The role will contribute to comprehensive patient care through assessment, treatment planning, procedural assistance, and coordinated follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Assess adult patients and obtain comprehensive medical histories.
- Perform physical examinations and support preoperative evaluations.
- Develop and contribute to patient treatment plans.
- Manage prescriptions in accordance with clinical protocols and physician direction.
- Assist the surgical team during spine surgery procedures in the operating room.
- Coordinate care with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current state Physician Assistant license.
