As a faculty member, you’ll:
- Deliver evidence‑based instruction in classroom, clinical, and online settings
- Guide students through clinical experiences and evaluate their performance
- Serve as a mentor and professional role model
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement
- Participate in student advisement and university service
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Current, unencumbered professional nurse licensure in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students effectively; must be experientially prepared to teach assigned courses
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and a high level of initiative
- Must maintain current regulatory and practice credentials, as applicable to the teaching assignment
- Compliance with all clinical site requirements as outlined in the faculty compliance packet
- Education and experience must align with state regulations and accreditation standards
- Must comply with the rules and regulations of state authorization agencies, including higher education and/or licensing boards in multiple states, as applicable
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53,520.90 and $93,918.96. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job‑related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
