Spring 2026 - Guest Educator (Substitute Teacher)
Join to apply for the Spring 2026 - Guest Educator (Substitute Teacher) role at Irving ISD.
Primary PurposeEnable students to pursue their education with minimal interruption in the absence of the regularly assigned classroom teacher.
Qualifications- Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED, required
- Valid Teaching Certificate: preferred
- Degree or at least 60 college semester hours: preferred
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Professionalism in the classroom and with interactions of administration /staff
- Completion of an Irving ISD Guest Educator Orientation
- Flexibility/adaptability to changing environments
- Must speak and understand conversational and proper English
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Ability to read and comprehend written materials (lesson plans, student information, textbooks, policy and procedure)
Experience working with children and students, preferred.
