Step into Your New RoleKleinfelder is seeking a Construction Materials Testing/Inspection Engineer. The position will be based in Kleinfelder's Central Division Dallas location.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and communicate with internal or external clients to understand their needs
- Manage a portfolio of projects meeting client and company requirements for safety, budget, quality and schedule
- Safely supervise field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support
- Mentor and manage junior staff and project level geotechnical professionals through project performance
- Perform and develop scopes for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis
- Coordinate tasks and manage medium to large size multi-disciplined projects with guidance and interaction by senior operations/technical staff
- Prepare or review designs, reports and calculations on complex projects

- 8 years of related experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License and ability to be licensed in multiple states
- Must have a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Position will require the candidate to adhere to work assignments/schedules, be self-motivated, organized and have a keen sense of detail
Candidate must be willing to work in addition to a standard 40-hour work week when needed.
