Introba is seeking a Mechanical Designer for our growing team in Dallas, TX.

• Prepare drawings
• Conduct site surveys
• Work across disciplines
• Perform code review and investigation
• Design equipment layout and sizing
• Generate plans and coordinate with other trades
• Assist in review of shop drawing submittals from contractors
• Assist in inspection, review, and preparation of site inspection reports
• Interact with building owners, property management, architects, and members of the design and construction team
• Assist in review of codes to ensure designs meet all applicable codes and safety standards
• Assist in providing construction cost opinions
• Attend and support technical societies

• Associate’s or technical degree in Building Systems Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related accredited program
• 0–4 years’ experience in facility design or construction
• Highly motivated to take on challenges and exceed expectations, and continue to absorb information to progress career
• Demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to daily tasks
• Experience with model coordination
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Basic understanding of construction detailing and techniques
• Willingness to receive instruction while planning, prioritizing, organizing, and managing responsibilities on multiple projects
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Revit
