Building Engineer

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Building Engineer.

The Building Engineer supports the designated leadership with the daily operations of all building systems. This includes maintenance and repair of hard surfaces, basic carpentry and metal work, and operating, maintaining, and repairing facility system equipment related to HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems. The Building Engineer will also respond to customer requests, submit and close work orders, and perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Follow safe practices and comply with company and regulatory standards.
• Operate or assist in operating heating, ventilating, and related equipment, engines, turbines, motors, pumps, compressors, and air conditioning units.
• Be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks.
• Work with internal and external customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations.
• Assist in various engineering departments based on current needs.

Qualifications:

• Provide engineering support for systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational functions.
• Understand, analyze, and seek solutions for the design, operation, maintenance, and repair of vehicles and equipment.
• Approach problem-solving logically, define maintenance or configuration needs, and ensure safe, legal operation.
• Review Service Bulletins from manufacturers and develop solutions and implementation plans.
• Manage priorities, project execution, and technical specifications revisions.
• Coordinate with operational groups to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
