We’re seeking a motivated and technically proficient IT Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure solutions across data centers and cloud platforms. This role is ideal for candidates looking to transition from an administrator role into engineering, or junior engineers ready to take the next step in their careers. Leadership aspirations are welcomed—while this is a hands‑on technical role, growth and career development are strongly supported.

• Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions across on‑premises and cloud environments (AWS & Azure)
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including IT operations, software development, and project managers
• Support and maintain data center systems, ensuring reliability and performance
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for incidents and requests
• Develop and maintain system documentation, runbooks, and procedural guides
• Lead or contribute to project planning, including scheduling, status updates, and coordination
• Assist in business continuity planning and system backup strategies

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in IT engineering and operations (LAN/server/email/backup/storage/AD)
• Strong experience with Windows, VMware, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS & Azure)
• Independent, self‑directed, and responsible work style
• Proven troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
• Experience with project planning and coordination (certification not required)
• Ability to lift 25 lbs., climb stairs, and sit for extended periods

• Familiarity with Microsoft web/app/database stacks
• Knowledge of identity management, two‑factor authentication, and zero‑trust architecture
• Strong understanding of networking concepts;
  Cisco experience a plus
• Proficiency in Power Shell scripting and automation
• Experience with firewalls and host‑based security
• Technical writing skills for documentation and communication
• Familiarity with support ticketing systems
