Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Program Manager
. The position will be focused on one of our major retail clients, managing projects across the Central Division. The position will be based in Kleinfelder’s Dallas, TX office.

• Coordinate and communicate with internal or external clients to understand their needs
• Manage a portfolio of Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing projects meeting client and company requirements for safety, budget, quality and schedule
• Safely supervise field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support
• Mentor and manage junior staff and project level geotechnical professionals through project performance
• Perform and develop scopes for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis
• Coordinate tasks and manage medium to large size multi-disciplined projects with guidance and interaction by senior operations/technical staff
• Prepare or review designs, reports and calculations on complex projects

• Soil and rock classification
• Seismic evaluations
• Slope stability analysis
• Earth retention systems
• Shallow and deep foundation design
• Construction support
• Soil improvement techniques
• Pipeline, power transmission

• 8+ years of related experience
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License, with the ability to achieve registration in multiple states
• Must have a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Position will require the candidate to adhere to work assignments/schedules, be self‑motivated, organized and have a keen sense of detail
• Candidate must be willing to work in addition to a standard 40-hour work week when needed
