We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and foster long-term financial sustainability. As a vital member of the executive team, the CFO will oversee all facets of financial planning, risk management, accounting, budgeting, and capital strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the media and entertainment industry, experience in high-growth digital businesses, and a passion for safeguarding free speech and independent journalism.

• Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, ensuring it aligns with overall business objectives.
• Foster a data-driven culture that aims to cut through the noise generated by a digital firm.
• Supervise all financial operations, such as accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support data-driven decision-making.
• Optimize revenue models, pricing strategies, and monetization opportunities across digital, subscription, and advertising-driven business lines.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to ensure financial health and growth.
• Identify and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships to drive company expansion.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audits, and industry standards.
• Establish and execute financial controls and risk management frameworks to protect company assets.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing finance and accounting team.
• Serve as a primary consultant to the CEO and executive leadership team regarding all financial issues.
• Communicate financial performance and strategy to investors, board members, and key stakeholders.

• Over 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in the media, entertainment, or digital content sectors.
• Experience with revenue models in subscription-based digital advertising and content distribution businesses.
• Robust background in financial forecasting, modeling, and strategic planning.
• Demonstrated success in managing M&A transactions, raising capital, and handling investor relations.
• Expertise in financial compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills focused on cultivating a results-oriented culture.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
