The Director of Accounting is a strategic and hands‑on position dedicated to lead the financial operations across our dynamic Supply Chain Logistics, Parcel, Automation, and Consulting business units. This role will oversee all aspects of accounting, tax compliance and strategy, treasury management, payroll controls, 401(k) vendor management and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and alignment with corporate goals and regulatory standards.

The role ensures financial integrity, optimizes cash flow, and supports strategic decision‑making across the business, particularly within the supply chain logistics, parcel, automation and consulting divisions.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates effectively across all levels of the organization, and drives continuous improvement through a hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach.

  • You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across multiple business units.
  • You will oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
  • You will ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
  • You will partner with FP&A for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • You will manage external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion.
  • Yu will direct all aspects of corporate tax including income, sales/use, property, and international tax.
  • You will ensure timely and compliant tax filings and reporting across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
  • You will develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.
  • Yoy will manage treasury operations including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and debt management.
  • You will maintain banking relationships, credit facilities, and investment strategies.
  • You will oversee payroll processes, controls, and system integrations (e.g., ADP, UKG, Paycom).
  • You will support 401(k) administration, vendor management, and compliance reporting.
  • You will drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system optimization across finance functions.
  • You will collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, Legal, IT, and Operations to support strategic initiatives.
  • You will lead and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering growth and accountability.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • You bring 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, tax, and treasury functions.
  • You have proven leadership in managing and developing high‑performing finance teams.
  • You bring strong expertise in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, Paycom) and 401(k) administration.
  • You are proficiency in financial platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Lucanet.
  • You have a deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, treasury operations, and payroll compliance.
  • You have exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • You are an effective communicator with the ability to present financial insights to non‑financial stakeholders.
  • You have demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and foster collaboration.
  • You have experience managing external relationships with financial institutions and benefit providers.
  • You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, change, and competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Industry experience in supply chain, logistics, automation, or consulting is a plus.
