A company is looking for a Credentialed Tax Expert (Part-time, Remote).
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers in completing their taxes using company products, providing tax advice and full-service return preparation
- Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customer inquiries
- Interact with customers through video communication software and document interactions for record-keeping
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns
- Active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney) with a valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, across three or more days
- Willingness to obtain an internet connection that meets security criteria
