Firefighter Test Registration

City of Irving is currently accepting registration for the next Firefighter entrance examination. Registrants will be notified when the examination date has been set. • Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be between the ages of 21 and 35 to be hired
• Must have high school diploma or GED
• If time was served in the military, must have proof of discharge under honorable conditions
• Must have a good driving record
• Must have a clear arrest record
• Must have good credit rating
• Must have good hearing in both ears
• Vision must be correctable to 20/20; must be able to distinguish the colors red, green and yellow
