Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship (CFY)

North Texas Therapy & Home Care specializes in pediatric speech‑language therapy. Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • License to practice Speech‑Language Pathology in Texas
  • Experience in pediatrics required
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Feeding experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Valid auto insurance and driver’s license required
Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients 0‑21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, as per physician orders.
  • Define patients’ degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral‑motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairments by selecting and administering appropriate testing instruments.
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
  • In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient and advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions.
  • Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources, and in‑service programs as part of a comprehensive speech therapy program.
  • May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience.
