- Pharmacy Technician I:
- Assists the Pharmacist in the preparation of prescriptions as permitted by state law
- Maintains good customer service by accepting prescriptions or refill requests, processing sales and answering questions for customers
- Achieves customer satisfaction by promptly processing prescriptions, sales transactions, and answering questions
- Other duties include stocking and pricing over the counter (OTC) items, maintaining the OTC areas, processing clinic medication requisitions, and other duties as required by the pharmacist
- Pharmacy Technician II:
- Includes all duties of a Pharmacy Technician I
- High School Diploma or GED
- TSBP Registration
- 6+ months of pharmacy tech experience OR previous experience as a pharmacy service representative OR completion from an accredited pharmacy technician program
- Ability to read merchandise labels and invoices; to ask and answer questions over the phone; to write information on prescriptions
- Stress tolerance - to receive prescriptions and ring up sales in a fast-paced environment
- Physical Stamina - to work in fast paced environment, and maneuver around pharmacy
- Ability to address customers about complaints and problems
For Pharmacy Technician II
- 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment.
