Always Best Care Senior Services is hiring a warm, engaging caregiver for a gentleman in Irving who is recovering from a recent stroke. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys one-on-one care, building a genuine connection with their client, and having a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

For this client,
conversation matters! Regular verbal interaction is part of his recovery, so we are especially interested in caregivers who are naturally friendly, communicative, encouraging, and comfortable keeping a conversation going throughout the day.

You’ll provide hands‑on support while helping the client maintain as much independence and normalcy as possible. Daily care may include:

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care

• Supporting safe mobility and transfers

• Preparing meals and assisting during mealtimes when needed

• Providing companionship and plenty of positive conversation

• Encouraging participation in his established daily routine

• Completing light housekeeping related to the client’s care

• Keeping the client's environment safe, comfortable, and organized

• Observing changes in the client’s needs and communicating concerns appropriately

This assignment may be perfect for you if you are dependable, patient, upbeat, and genuinely enjoy talking with the people you care for.

We’re looking for a caregiver who:

• Can reliably work Monday through Friday from 8:0 AM–3:30 PM

• Has experience assisting with ADLs and personal care

• Is comfortable supporting someone during stroke recovery

• Has a friendly personality and enjoys conversation

• Is patient and knows how to encourage without rushing a client

• Is comfortable around dogs, as there is a dog in the home

• Values consistency and enjoys getting to know one client well

Instead of rotating shifts or an unpredictable schedule, this position offers steady weekday daytime hours with one client
. You’ll have the opportunity to become a familiar, trusted part of his routine while supporting his progress and independence after a stroke.
