Key responsibilities include performing statistical analysis, identifying trends, creating data visualizations, and communicating findings through reports and dashboards to Operations, Sales, Product Management, and Senior Management. Data analysts use tools like SQL, Excel, and NWA or Minitab statistical software, and their findings support strategic planning and operational improvements.
CoreResponsibilities
- Data Collection & Acquisition:
Gathers data from various primary and secondary sources. - Data Cleaning & Preparation:
Cleans and processes raw data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analysis. - Data Analysis:
Conducts statistical analysis and uses various methods to identify trends, patterns, and relationships within datasets. - Insight Generation:
Translates complex data into meaningful, actionable insights for business stakeholders. - Reporting & Visualization:
Creates reports, charts, and dashboards to present findings to internal teams and senior stakeholders in an understandable format. - Database Management:
Sets up and maintains databases and data infrastructure. - Collaboration:
Works with technical and non-technical teams to understand business needs and present data-driven solutions.
- Technical Skills
:
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (NWA, Minitab) is essential for data manipulation and presentation. - Analytical Thinking

Ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes, and draw meaningful conclusions. - Statistical Knowledge

- Create best‑practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
- Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
- Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision‑makers.
