Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team in Texas (75039)!

This is a 6‑month contract with a strong possibility of extension or full‑time placement

• Automate cloud provisioning using Terraform, Chef, Puppet
  , and more
• Build high‑quality automation workflows aligning tech & business strategies
• Embed with engineering teams to deliver best‑practice CI/CD and cloud‑native solutions
• Champion TDD/ATDD
  , trunk‑based development, version control, and pipeline automation
• Drive PoCs and perform technical feasibility studies
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive resolution
• Manage 3rd‑party data streams into datacenter and cloud
• Collaborate with Architecture teams on strategic cloud enablement
• Ensure high availability
  , monitoring, and operational excellence
• Act as an Azure Cloud SME
  , guiding teams on standards and governance
• Lead compliance automation and policy‑as‑code initiatives
• Communicate risks, progress, and updates with stakeholders
• Create diagrams (system flow, data flow, sequence, UML) and architecture documentation

• Terraform, ARM Templates, Cloud Formation
• Monitoring tools (
  Data Dog, Splunk, Nagios, Zipkin, App Dynamics
  )
• SCM, CI/CD, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven/Gradle/Webpack
• Deep knowledge in software design, networking, storage, security, virtualization, DB arch, and Linux admin
• Strong understanding of API gateways, web services, integration patterns
• Experience with Agile/Scrum
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance experience
• 2–3 years experience in consumer banking
