Overview
As a Systems Integration Consultant, you will elevate the customer experience for key MMS accounts by leveraging advanced integration technologies and generative AI to deliver maximum business value efficiently. This role focuses on translating complex business requirements into intelligent, automated systems and process designs for large-scale technology ecosystems. The Integration Technology Consultant provides consultative services to McKesson customers, guiding customers to best practice integration solutions and ensuring integrations are mutually beneficial to all parties.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement intelligent integration solutions using McKesson's technology suite, incorporating AI automated testing, and process optimization.
- Facilitate onboarding of McKesson EDI trading partners and enhance integrations with McKesson back‑office systems using AI‑assisted mapping and validation tools.
- Collaborate directly with healthcare providers (home care, nursing homes, surgery centers, doctor offices, retail accounts) to assess business processes and deliver AI‑enhanced EDI/McKD solutions tailored to their needs.
- Utilize automation to run transactional flows and provide predictive recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Interface with Sales, Product Development, and Professional Services teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of AI‑driven best practices.
- Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in EDI or McKesson Direct integration
- Strong understanding of API, HL7, XML, cXML formats
- Familiarity with JD Edwards or Enterprise One
- Critical
Skills:- Knowledge of AI‑enhanced integration tools and automation testing
- Proficiency in SFTP, AS2 protocols, and secure data exchange
- Strong communication skills for technical and business audiences
- In‑depth knowledge of EDI X12 transaction sets (850, 855, 832, 810, 856)
- Project coordination and delivery expertise
- Presentation skills for customer‑facing meetings and solution demonstrations
- Ability to map and document customer workflows and design optimal integration solutions.
- Healthcare industry experience
- SQL (Oracle and/or DB2) and data analytics
- Familiarity with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and B2
Bi - Experience with Salesforce, JIRA, and workflow automation platforms
