Job Description # MOSA Power Bi / Sql Sr CE
* Enterprise level support and administration focused specifically on:  + SQL performance and tuning optimization, Clustering, Always On Availability groups, High Availability, Core SQL +Migration, on-premises and cloud.
* SQL Server on IaaS experience on Azure/ Other public cloud required.
* All versions of SQL Server (2012 and onwards)
* Solving performance problems, query tuning, and optimization
* Architectural experience for Data Platform
* Architecting for High Availability and Disaster recovery solutions using FCI, Always on Availability groups
* Azure data factory, Azure SQLDB, Azure SQLDB Managed Instance, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric knowledge is a plus.
* Delivering and/or authoring technical training
* SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services, Analysis Services
* Power BI experience and knowledge are a plus.
* Advanced Microsoft certifications preferred.
* Previous Consulting and/or customer facing role.  + Data modeling and database design.
* Indexing strategy
* Performance Optimization and Tuning Capabilities
* Partitioning data implementations
* Database schema creation and management.
* Backup, High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
* Ensuring data integrity.
* Ensuring High availability and Disaster recovery.
* SQL code reviews with ability to dissect query plan, T-SQL code
* Data security.
* Data Encryption
* Auditing* Replication of data
* SQL Edition and version differences with discontinued and deprecated features
* Upgrade process.
* Storage management techniques.
* Data Engine Capacity planning.
* General database management, Policy based management.
* Extended events and Traces
* Basic Licensing and support scenarios
* Windows Failover Clustering
* SQL Server Reporting service
* SQL server Integration Service
* SQL Server Analysis Service
* Power Shell development skills needed.
* Power BI Solution design and Power BI Embedded development.
* Tabular Data modeling and database design.
* Optimize Tabular Data Models
* Troubleshoot slow running Power BI and paginated reports.
* DAX, Power Query M Language, development and optimization
* Paginated Report Development (SQL Server Reporting Services)
* Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop skills
* Create/modify Data Flows, Data Pipelines, Analytic Notebooks.
* Migration from Reporting services, Tableau and other reporting tools to Power BI.
