We are seeking dynamic Ops Center Specialists to be founding members of the Ops Center, where you will monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions for end-to-end video delivery systems.
The Ops Center operates 24x7x365 and requires shift technicians.
- Major Incident Manager/Change Manager roles for Service Now and other tools
- Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions for video delivery systems
- Maintain and manage knowledge articles and databases
- Work independently, leading or coordinating medium projects, and providing resolutions for complex problems, including hardware and software installation, testing, and scheduling
- Analyze customer requests and determine the best operational solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience in monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting video delivery systems
- Experience working in cable Headends, FiOS, IPTV, OTT environments, Hubs, Web Services, Servers, or Video Network Operations Centers
- Experience with multicast IP video, IP transport, Headend/Hub device configuration, servers, monitoring tools, or Web Services is required
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with emphasis on verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a shifted 24x7 operations environment, including holidays and weekends
- Experience working with command-line based applications using UNIX or Linux OS
