Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Database Administrator.

• Install, configure, and maintain RDBMS/No
  
  SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, SQL Server, Mongo
  
  DB).
• Monitor database performance and perform tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Manage backups, recovery, replication, failover, and disaster‑recovery setups.
• Ensure database security, access control, and compliance.
• Support release deployments and troubleshoot database issues.
• Automate routine DBA tasks and maintain documentation.

• Strong SQL skills and deep knowledge of at least one major DB platform.
• Experience with performance tuning, backup & recovery, and high‑availability.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows servers and shell scripting.
• Experience with monitoring tools (OEM, Nagios, Grafana, etc.).
• Understanding of cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL) is a plus.

• Programming skills:
  Python/Java, or Node.js for scripting and automation.
• Serverless architecture: designing with Lambda, API Gateway, Apache Airflow.
• Cost management: understanding pricing models (On‑Demand, Reserved, Spot) and using Cost Explorer.
• Disaster recovery & high availability:
  Multi‑AZ deployments, backups, and fail‑over strategies.
• Soft skills:
  
  communication, stakeholder management, and documentation.
• Team collaboration: working with Dev Ops, security, and development teams to align cloud goals.
• Certifications:
  
  AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

• Pay range: $120k – $125k per year + benefits.
