Scrum Master

We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join our Merch Team. This role will be part of a multidisciplinary team of product managers, marketers, designers, and engineers, working together to create products that are experienced by hundreds of thousands of users daily.

The Senior Scrum Master will guide and mentor Scrum teams, improve Agile processes, and promote the values and principles of Scrum across teams. They will act as a key facilitator, coach, and servant-leader to ensure teams are high-performing and delivering value effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guide teams in following Scrum principles and best practices.
• Manage Jira boards for multiple teams, ensuring work is well-organized, transparent, and progressing smoothly.
• Generate and present reports at the end of each sprint, including key metrics and team performance.
• Collaborate closely with development managers and product managers to prioritize work and remove team impediments.
• Identify and resolve any blockers or challenges affecting the team’s ability to deliver.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by coaching the team on Agile practices and helping refine processes.
• Understand the basics of testing processes, deployment pipelines, and development environments to effectively support technical teams.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Utilize various project management tools to support team execution and delivery.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Deep understanding of Scrum principles and practices.

Experience managing Jira boards for multiple teams.

Strong ability to generate sprint reports and analyze team performance metrics.

Basic knowledge of software testing processes, deployment pipelines, and development environments.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong project management skills across multiple tools and platforms.

Proven ability to resolve team impairments and keep work moving forward.

Ability to work hand-in-hand with development and product managers.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).

Education and Experience:

• 6+ years of relevant work experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• 6+ years of experience in a management, leadership, or coaching role.
