Manager - Software Engineering

Duties

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud environments on Azure, AWS and Google cloud platforms. Implement pipelines using Databricks - Python/Spark notebooks, Azure data factory and load data every hour and real time integrations;
Use Kubernetes to deploy new cluster, manage jobs and services on multiple AKS clusters. Build new container and create docker images. Work with the infrastructure, network admins and production support teams to introduce provisioning and deployment automation for new applications. Work with various teams to discuss approach, analyze, design, and develop technical components and deployment solutions. Lead performance tuning integrations including data analysis, ETL design improvement, data model improvement and partitioning strategies.

Act as a key contributor on Delivery APIs team, responsible for design, implementation and on-going enhancement of digital products and digital experience. Manage and mentor team to achieve business goals and support skill enhancement. Build and design data warehouse modules and data marts based on user requirements and update data model for CRM/SFMC data needs. Implement application deployment automation. Assist business users to analyze and gather data in data warehouse and document functional and technical requirements.

Work with Azure technologies to get data into a single destination. Perform peer reviews and approve Pull Requests on Git Hub. Perform pair programing, communicate ideas with team, assist in system integration, performance testing and product releases. Deploy infrastructure applications and software defined networking through CI/CD pipeline using Azure Dev Ops. Work across digital and non-digital applications and resolve issues based on customer needs.

Lead operations support in scheduled/ad hoc code deployments to higher environments. Explore and integrate third-party tools into cloud platform to support business needs.

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer/Developer, Infrastructure Administrator or Technology Lead, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 4 years in designing and building data warehouse modules and data marts to support business intelligence and data lake/reporting initiatives, leading ETL data integration projects from initiation to requirement gathering, analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and supporting the projects post implementation;

3 years in Azure or AWS PaaS, IaaS services/resources including databases, data modelling, reporting and data integration tools; and 2 years with Microsoft SSIS, Azure data bricks, data lake, Azure ADF and Power BI, Python, Tableau reports, data governance, and data quality practices and security.
