IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to implement technology solutions to support internal and external users. The IT Field Services team is responsible for the design, setup and support of the IT infrastructure supporting over 700 locations across the country. A successful candidate will have experience implementing IT infrastructure and project management.

• Collaborate with other Engineering and Operations staff to engineer, implement, and support IT infrastructure projects
• Manage network and server implementations at multiple locations across the US
• Coordinate all project information, schedules, assignment task, and status updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate internal technical resources for tracking work and implementation schedules
• Coordinate with 3rd party installation teams with assigning and tracking all work
• Assist senior engineers and other IT managers to develop, update and document IT infrastructure and operational policies and standards

* This resource needs to be able to come onsite 3-5 days a week onsite in Irving, Texas

• 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management utilizing Waterfall or Agile
• Understanding of networking and compute concepts with experience in local and wide area network design, administration and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Vmware and enterprise infrastructure
• Experience utilizing support ticketing systems
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelors or Associate Degree
  • PMP or equivalent certifications
