Imprimis Group Is Hiring – Marketing Systems Manager.
Contract $45-50/hour – 6 Months.
Remote – Global Hq in Irving, Tx.
Imprimis Group has partnered with a global marketing team who is in the middle of a major evolution, and they need someone who can tighten up systems, streamline how work moves, and guide teams through change without breaking a sweat. The Marketing Systems Manager role blends product ownership and project management, with a heavy focus on improving their creative production platform, optimizing workflows, and bringing clarity where things have been… let’s say “freelance style.”
The Marketing Systems Manger will manage enhancements, document how things should work, keep everyone aligned, and help move transformation initiatives forward with confidence and calm.
Job Duties- Oversee the marketing department’s work-management platform, including feature requests, prioritization, testing, and rollout communication
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure system updates, enhancements, and integrations support real business needs
- Build and maintain clear documentation for workflows, processes, user guides, and platform updates
- Map out how work should move across marketing functions to reduce downtime, eliminate confusion, and increase visibility
- Lead project efforts tied to department transformation, supporting scope definition, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment
- Support a major upcoming initiative: a full audit of all member-facing email communications and the workflows behind them
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and better cross-team collaboration
- Help teams adopt new tools or processes through steady communication, guidance, and follow-through
- Anticipate risks or roadblocks and address them early to keep work moving smoothly
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, product management, marketing operations, or similar technical/operational roles
- PMP Certified (or equivalent) and Agile certifications are a huge plus (CSM, PMI-ACP)
- Strong background using work-management or creative production tools (Hive, Workato, Zapier, Click Up, Wrike, Monday, etc.)
- Experience writing documentation, building workflows, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Confident working with Agile or hybrid project methods; able to flex based on the situation
- Clear communicator who can influence without authority and build trust across teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where processes evolve and ambiguity is part of the day-to-day
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to connect system behavior to business outcomes.
- Bonus points for familiarity with APIs, JSON, or light automation concepts
