Engineering Specialist III

Position Overview

Perform engineering work, as a technical expert on complex and specialist subject(s). Supports management with the analysis, interpretation, and application of complex information.

• Respond to issues related to environment, hardware, system, and/or software and implement resolution across technology areas.
• Support multiple systems simultaneously and provide leadership for large project efforts.
• Perform activities such as Configuration Management, System Administration, Security Administration, Network Administration, Development System Implementation, and/or Production System Implementation.
• Support or lead activities related to change management, outage management, and/or project management.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations and company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years of experience in information technology or engineering environment.
• Knowledge of capital planning and forecasting.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of software, hardware, and network.

Demonstrated proficiency in at least one of the following technology domains:
1) Microsoft 365 email and collaboration platforms;
2) Email routing, security, and hygiene solutions. Experience with automation tools and scripting languages and excellent problem‑solving and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

• Some travel required.

The compensation listed reflects the pay range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position at the posted location(s). Actual pay is determined by job‑related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment.

Pay Range: $74,814.00 – $ per year

Henderson, Mead $84,538 – $133,571;
Gypsum $89,777 – $141,847

Illinois Pay Ranges:
East Moline, Effingham, Kankakee, Lincoln, Quincy, Rockford $80,050 – $126,479;
Aurora, Bolingbrook, Chicago Heights, Des Plaines, Elmhurst, Forest View, Joliet, Schaumburg, Summit‑Argo, Zion $89,777 – $141,847

New York Pay Ranges:
Plattsburgh, Buffalo, Watertown, North Chili, East Syracuse, Nichols $80,050 – $126,479;
Nichols $84,538 – $133,571;
Bethpage, Montgomery, West Babylon $89,777 – $141,847
