Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management industry, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1, you will be part of the Operations Support team supporting data center activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Onsite - Irving, TX
Duration: 18 Month Contract on W2
Pay: $25 - $28/hr. + Benefits & PTO
Day Shift A: 12-hrs (Sun-Wed) & (Sun-Tue)
Day Shift B: 12-hrs (Thu-Sat) & (Wed-Sat)

• Monitor the system for equipment failures or performance errors.
• Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting issues or terminating the program as necessary.
• Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs.
• Operate spreadsheet programs and other software to load, manipulate data, and produce reports.
• Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring detailed inventory tracking.

• High School Diploma AND 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Previous experience working in a data center environment.
• Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with customer service and interpersonal skills.
