Sr Performance Engineer

Location: Irving, TX (need to go onsite for 2-3 days a week) - No remote

Description:

Need an engineer with Prod Support and Monitoring exposure to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. In this role you will be part of the L3 team, and responsible for improving the stability, availability, supportability, and performance aspects of multiple applications. You will be working closely with L2/L1 support, development, and IT support groups while collaborating with several lines of business.

• 7+ years of experience across multiple technology disciplines
• 5+ years of experience in support and monitoring role for large applications
• Experience with Applications developed using Java, Angular, Spring boot, .Net Core, ASP.NET, Require.js, Angular, JSON, Node.js, Rest API, HTML5, etc.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as App Dynamics, Dynatrace etc and log monitoring tools such as Splunk, Kibana etc
• Experience working with complex Web development projects
• Excellent technical knowledge with experience in supporting large-scale applications
• Ability to identify issues quickly and resolve
• Good understanding of ITIL process
• Expertise in Application delivery process
• Experience/Expert knowledge in converting monolithic applications to APIs
• Good understanding of cloud technologies and APIGEE
• Experience with Dev Ops, Agile, automation & Cloud implementation strategies.
• Experience with diagnostics tools to identify root cause in application code.
• Exposure and working knowledge on No SQL database, relational databases systems MS SQL Server or similar RDBMS
• Ability to work both independently and collaboration with team
• Strong technical, logical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
