The Senior Data Scientist is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work‑flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in‑depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub‑function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams.

• Designs and manages vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, or similar) to support semantic search and contextual memory in AI agents. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI agents into business processes, enhancing automation, decision‑making, and user experience.
• Conducts advanced data analysis and visualization to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data sources.
• Stays current with emerging trends in generative AI, LLM orchestration, and agentic systems to continuously improve solution design.
• Develops complex data & analytical solutions using python

• Leverages GCP Vertex AI, including Gemini models, to build scalable machine learning and generative AI applications.
• Conducts strategic data analysis, identifies insights and implications, makes strategic recommendations, and develops data displays clearly communicating complex analysis.
• Mines and analyzes data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality.
• Delivers analytics initiatives to address business problems, determining data required, assessing time & effort required, and establishing a project plan.
• Consults with business clients to determine system functional specifications, applying comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to achieve business objectives. Recommends solutions.
• Assists system change process from requirements through implementation, providing user and operational support of application to business users.
• Assists in defining systems scope and objectives for complex projects through research and fact‑finding.
