Our client provides product and technology solutions to its customers and supports them through complex technical projects, from initial system setup through ongoing support.

The Application Configuration Analyst provides high-level technical support to clients of our client’s product and technology solutions. This role completes technical application configuration during initial system setup and works in conjunction with Application Support Analysts to provide ongoing support of clients’ complex technical projects.

Day to day, you will configure applications to implement systems and deliver ongoing change services, creating and modifying business rules through a business rule expression language. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues, write SQL queries to research data and application problems, and work closely with account management, database administration, product development, and system engineering to solve problems quickly and implement changes.

You will also lead application change projects, including status reporting, risk identification, and managing customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in relational databases and SQL, a client-first mindset, and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to a range of audiences while adapting quickly to changing requirements.

• Perform application configuration work to implement systems and provide ongoing change services.
• Create and modify business rules governing data entry searches, functionality, and data presentation using a business rule expression language.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve problems, or manage them to resolution, so the application meets customer requirements for data integrity and other expectations.
• Collaborate with account management, database administration, product development, and system engineering to facilitate rapid problem solving and implement changes.
• Use knowledge of RDBMS for analysis, scripting, and troubleshooting of application and data interface issues.
• Write SQL queries to research physical data and application-related issues, and plan, implement, and manage changes.
• Develop technical configuration change steps.
• Assist with the initial implementation and continued maintenance of networks and hardware for application hosting.
• Lead application change projects, using project control and status reporting techniques, identifying risks, developing mitigation plans, and managing customer expectations.

• 5+ years of directly related experience, such as product implementation or support, including leadership experience.
• Strong technical skills, including demonstrated knowledge of RDBMS.
• Demonstrated knowledge of database query language, data manipulation, and data load concepts.
• Technical project management/coordination skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, business and technical judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client orientation and customer service skills to understand and drive customer solutions.
• Ability to translate clients’ business needs and requirements and present issues to a range of audience members.
• Ability to immediately adapt to changing requirements and conditions.

• Prior experience with SQL and/or a programming language.
• Experience working in a matrix team environment.
• Familiarity with real estate concepts.

Bachelor’s degree in a related IT or business field, or equivalent work experience.

• $30/hr W2
