Summary

In this role, you will lead the design and development of advanced finance analytics, business intelligence, and reporting solutions that support corporate targets and informed decision-making. You will independently build complex Power BI dashboards and data visualizations from the ground up, source and model data from Databricks and other data sources, and translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.

This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen together with hands-on technical expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, visualization design, and analytics solution delivery. Your work will support senior executives, the Finance Committee, the Board of Directors, investors, and internal business partners.

Responsibilities
  • Independently design, build, test, deploy, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions from the ground up.
  • Develop scalable Power BI solutions using advanced features such as data models, calculated measures, interactive slicers, drill-through functionality, and row-level security.
  • Source, transform, model, and validate data from Databricks and other enterprise data sources to support finance reporting and analytics needs.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into intuitive visualizations, management insights, and executive-level financial narratives.
  • Partner with Finance leaders and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define key performance indicators, and convert business needs into effective analytics solutions.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly consolidated reporting and dashboards for senior executives, the Finance Committee, the Board of Directors, investors, and internal partners.
  • Perform data reconciliation, validation, and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of dashboards, reports, calculations, and underlying data.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Financial Systems, and technical partners to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve source-data, logic, integration, and reporting issues.
  • Support FP&A team members with business-unit reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, improve dashboard performance, streamline analytics processes, and strengthen self-service reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Advanced degree desired.
  • Five or more years of experience in finance analytics, financial business intelligence, FP&A reporting, data visualization, or a related area.
  • Demonstrated experience independently designing and building complex Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions from initial requirements through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Advanced hands-on Power BI development experience, including data modeling, DAX calculations, interactive visualizations, slicers, drill-through functionality, and row-level security.
  • Experience sourcing, transforming, validating, and modeling data from Databricks or a comparable cloud-based enterprise data platform.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, FP&A processes, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, key performance indicators, and business-performance analysis.
  • Experience translating financial and business requirements into scalable analytics, reporting, and visualization solutions.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, recognize trends and anomalies, and communicate clear, actionable recommendations to business and executive audiences.
  • Experience troubleshooting data-quality, reporting-logic, calculation, and source-system issues in partnership with finance and technical teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to data accuracy, integrity, documentation, and quality…
